For Instructors

At NC State University, it’s our shared responsibility to ensure students have access to usable, equal, and sustainable learning environments.

It is the responsibility of students to request accommodations, the responsibility of instructors to fulfill accommodations, and Testing Services’ responsibility to be a resource for both parties.

Instructors and students should review and discuss approved accommodations (such as extended time) at the start of the semester. Students must request their approved testing accommodations through the DRO Student Portal at least two business days before scheduling appointments to ensure appropriate setup and timing.

Submit Exam Information

Instructors must submit the exam information details form before students can schedule their exam appointments at the test centers.

Instructors can reference this page for student appointments, student accommodations, and the student’s completed exams.

Extensions

Instructors must submit the extension form for accommodated students permitted to take the exam outside of the original exam window.
