For Students

Accommodated Testing

About the Test Centers:

  • The test centers are equipped to handle testing accommodations, per confirmation from the Disability Resource Office (DRO).
  • Earplugs, noise-reducing headphones, and music are also available to every student.
  • The test centers utilize cameras to assist in the monitoring of the testing space. Students are expected to adhere to all testing policies and the Code of Student Conduct
  • Students with approved testing accommodations can schedule exams at either the Testing Center in Holmes Hall on Main Campus or Venture IV on Centennial Campus.

Things to note:

  • Students are no longer required to submit their accommodation letters to DELTA Testing Services. We are collaborating with the DRO to streamline the accommodation process for students, making it more efficient.
  • Students should review and discuss all accommodations (extended time, etc.) with their instructor(s) at the beginning of the semester. Please submit your accommodation letter to your instructor before scheduling appointments to receive your approved accommodations.
  • Students must schedule 24 hours in advance. However, for best results, appointments should be scheduled as early in the semester as possible.
  • Students should confirm their appointment time does not exceed the test center closing time.
  • If you do not see your class listed when trying to schedule an appointment, please reach out to your instructor.
  • If the instructor does not provide a PDF copy of the exam 24 hours in advance, student appointments may be canceled and redirected to the instructor.

All testing is by appointment only.

To ensure space availability, all appointments should be made as early in the semester as possible. If there is no time slot available, reach out to dro-testing@ncsu.edu.

If your class is not available, reach out to your instructor.
