Holmes Hall

Accommodated Testing Only

Holmes Hall Policies and Procedures:

  • Discuss your testing accommodations with your instructor to determine if they will make arrangements for your accommodations in their department or if you should use the test center. Students cannot schedule appointments until the instructor has submitted the exam details.
  • Schedule your appointments at least five business days in advance; however, it is suggested that you schedule all appointments as early as possible, especially final exams.
  • There are several locations where you can take your exams:
    • Holmes Hall (limited seating – fills up quickly)
    • Cox Hall (limited seating – fills up quickly)
    • Venture IV on Centennial Campus
  • ALL testing stops at the posted closing time for the location, regardless of check-in time.
    • Students may check in up to 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment time.
    • Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late for their appointment must reschedule their exam or reach out to their instructor to make alternate arrangements.
    • Students who arrive on time but have to wait in line will receive their full appointment time.
  • Students must cancel appointments as soon as they know they will not need to or will not be able to keep a reservation. Repeated no-shows may result in a student’s remaining reservations being canceled.
  • The use of TI-Nspire™ calculators or any other device with similar capabilities, such as file storage and internet connectivity, is not permitted; however, the test center can provide calculators for students to use during their exam.
  • Student parking is not available near Holmes Hall.  Plan your trip based on available student parking spaces (West lot, Dan Allen Deck, Coliseum Deck, etc.) and services (Wolfline and Wolfpack Pick-up).
