Meazure Learning/Proctor U

Students must first submit the Off-Campus Proctor Request form, selecting Meazure Learning/Proctor U as the proctor from the drop-down.

Meazure Learning/Proctor U is a platform partnered with DELTA Testing Services to help students complete exams online at home with security measures designed to ensure academic integrity.

DELTA Testing Services certifies Meazure Learning/ProctorU to administer online exams for students.

At the instructor’s discretion, Meazure Learning/ProctorU may be available as a student elective option for off-campus testing. Students should confirm with their instructor that Meazure Learning/ProctorU is allowed before submitting a request.

How do I set up Meazure Learning/Proctor U?

  • Students must first submit the Off-Campus Proctor Request form, selecting Meazure Learning/Proctor U as the proctor from the dropdown.
  • DELTA Testing Services will correspond with the student via email when exams can be scheduled or if Meazure Learning/ProctorU is not a viable option for the course.
  • Once approved, students will create their own Meazure Learning/Proctor U profiles at go.proctoru.com and will receive an email from Meazure Learning/ ProctorU once the account is set up.
    • The process for approving Meazure Learning/ProctorU requests may take up to 3 business days.

What does it cost?

The cost of taking an exam with Meazure Learning/ProctorU varies based on the duration of the exam. Students pay Meazure Learning/ProctorU directly for the proctoring service.

The following exam appointment fees apply to NC State University exams:

*If a student schedules an appointment within 72 hours (Take It Soon), there is an additional $5 charge. If a student schedules an appointment within 24 hours (Take It Now), there is an additional $8 charge. No-shows will require the full appointment cost and students can handle refund requests via the Meazure Learning/Proctor U student support team.

Students are no longer required to submit their accommodation letters to DELTA Testing Services. Please verify dates, times, and any extended time accommodation on your LMS (Moodle) page.

When submitting the off-campus request form, students should choose the DRO drop-down to ensure their approved testing accommodations are added to Meazure Learning/ProctorU. Approved accommodations are clearly visible on the platform. Test-takers can view their accommodations from the moment they schedule an exam. Approved extended time accommodations on an exam will not be charged.

  • Not all instructors permit the use of an online proctor.
  • You should set up your profile before your exam window opens.
  • Remember all testing times in the LMS are set as Eastern Standard Time. Remember to set your time zone in Meazure Learning/ProctorU.
  • Once the exam window opens, you can log in at your scheduled appointment time.
  • The exam can be taken online at your convenience, at a specified date and time within your instructor’s exam window.
  • Students are expected to follow all Meazure Learning/Proctor U policies regarding exam submission and assessment integrity, as well as the Student Code of Conduct.  Incidents are reported to DELTA and the Instructor by Meazure Learning/Proctor U.

Meazure Learning/ProctorU offers technical support all day, every day. If something goes wrong either before or during an exam, test-takers can connect with their support team by email, phone, or live chat.

Before your exam, please confirm you meet Meazure Learning/ProctorU technical requirements.

  • Students will need to download the Guardian Browser to take their exams.
    • There is also a browser extension in Chrome.
  • Equipment: Desktop, laptop, or Chromebook (tablets are not supported).
  • Built-in or external webcam, microphone, and external speakers.
  • Internet: An upload and download speed of 2Mbps. Hot spots are not recommended.

If you run into any technical issues, the fastest way to get help is to use the Live Chat feature within your Meazure Learning/Proctor U account or the chat support link within the Guardian Browser.

This may occur for two reasons. Either your instructor has indicated to DELTA that the course may not use Meazure Learning/Proctor U or that the exam delivery for your course is not completely online.
